Yes. I'm officially middle-age. Can't believe it. Doesn't feel like it. But it's here. And like usual... my birthday celebrations last for several days. I like it that way! lol!
This year my birthday falls on a Saturday, which is fun! We had a GREAT day today! Started with Charis playing soccer, which was a blast! She scored like 10 goals, I think. She's so cute out there on the soccer fields with her little piggie tails!
Then we met some friends at Chick-Fil-A for lunch. And maybe the best part of the day was Bryson's soccer game! They are playing up a level, and they played against the #1 team that WAS undefeated. Until today. Bryson's team beat them 3-1. It was almost a shut-out, but the other team did end up scoring 1 goal in the 4th quarter. Bryson scored 2 of our 3 goals. It was an AWESOME, adrenaline-rushing game! So cool!
After the game, Alan had the idea to take the kids to see "How To Train A Dragon." We stopped at the gas station quick for some candy, and made it to the movie just in time! It was in 3D, which was soooo cool! The kids loved it! And so did we! And we all loaded up on popcorn, coke, and candy. We liked the movie so much that we might even take the kids to see it again.
It was a super fun celebration with just us ~ my 4 favorite people in the whole wide world! It was a Happy one!

Those are some of the cutest pics! I love laying around with the kids, eating junk food, seeing a good movie and veggie out! Makes for happy birthday memories...the sunglasses are adorable!!!
