Bryson's Young Writers Story

Well, Bryson couldn't miss out on the action! Selah was writing her story for the PBS Young Writers Contest, and Charis was coloring and "writing" along with her. Upon hearing how cool the prizes were, Bryson decided he wanted to write a story too. I figured he was just sort-of coloring and playing along like Charis was. He would bring me a piece of paper and say "Here Mom... write this down...." and I proceeded to write the words he spoke.
Well, he ended up making illustrations for all of those pages, and we sent in his story as well. He is pretty proud of his soccer story! My favorite page is the one of the team standing eating snacks. Their hair is awesome!
